Having access to nutritional food in rural and even urban communities can be difficult. Not every community has an ample supply of retail grocery stores or charitable organizations who can help.

Our Mobile Food Pantry Program provides a solution to hunger for individuals and families in need.

Weather rarely gets in the way of our Mobile Food Pantry Program.  Fortunately for our neighbors in need, our drive through distribution allows them to remain in their vehicles while supportive volunteers load them with food.  But for our staff and volunteers, it’s a different story.

“We’ve had to move our truck to block the wind for volunteers, maneuver pallets through snow, and one time it was raining so hard our guests couldn’t see to pull forward,” shared Dan Wilson, Program Director.  “We also leave produce behind if it’s below 32 degrees – it freezes.”

Rain, sleet and even snow, you’re helping us provide more than 349,000 meals annually through this important regional program.
