Target shares that philanthropy is one way they can address social and environmental challenges that impact our community. By partnering with our organization the last 20 years, they’re doing just that.

Each year Target donates more than 200,000 pounds of surplus food from their local stores supplying 160,000 meals to Northland families, children and seniors facing food insecurity. By donating rather than throwing, less usable food ends up in landfills contributing to a healthier environment.

More recently our inclusion in their Target Circle campaign resulted in over $3,780 donated by customers which resulted in an additional 11,000 meals during the pandemic. As Amanda Nusz, Vice President of Corporate Responsibility for Target shares, “We know that the work of the organizations we support matters now more than ever.”
