“If you’ve got plenty of money you can drive into town to get groceries,” shared Alecia. “But because of my limited income I can’t.”

As COVID-19 makes its way into our Northland communities, many of our neighbors have been left without needed supplies. Not having the luxury to stock up, our programs have become even more critical in ensuring meals for area families.

Over 420,000 meals have been mobilized in the last month thanks to your support of our COVID-19 response.  That’s 14,000 meals a day for our NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin neighbors.

“We’d be hungry without this food,” Alecia shared. “We appreciate it very much.”

It’s difficult to know when this public health crisis will subside, but it’s comforting to know you’re here to support our most vulnerable neighbors.
