Through our food bank and direct service programs, we distribute over 7.2 million pounds of food, or enough food for 5.8 million meals, which feed approximately 44,000 of our Northland neighbors in need.
One in 12 in our region does not know when or where they will receive their next meal. We have witnessed an increase in need in recent years, but we are working toward a solution.
With the help of volunteers, food and financial donors, we acquire and distribute food through a network of partner agencies and our own regional direct service programs.
Providing front-line solutions to the issue of hunger is core to our mission. We provide a strategic response and programs that fill our region’s missing meal gap.
Nutrition is an important part of creating a healthy and hunger-free Northland.
