Whole Foods Co-op is asking you to “round-up” your purchases this month to support our BackPack Program feeding thousands of regional children in need on weekends. The “GIVE 2020” round-up program annually provides more than $115,000 to local non-profits like ours.

“The pandemic and remote learning has shined an even bigger light on the issue of child food insecurity,” shared Hillary Heinz, Whole Foods Co-op’s Marketing Manager. “Our shoppers are eager to support Second Harvest’s Backpack Program which gets food into the hands of kids who need it. We are proud of our longstanding partnership with the food bank.”

A partner for over 16 years, Whole Foods’ Duluth locations also donate their surplus food providing over 65,000 meals annually to families, children and seniors in our community.
